Nikolay Pavlov

Interim Energy Minister

Nikolay Pavlov was born in 1975 in Dimitrovgrad.

He has a Master's degree in "Finance" and "International Economic Relations" at the University of National and World Economy.

He has long-term experience in the banking sector in the field of financial accounting. Pavlov has consistently held the position of Financial Director and member of the Managing Board of "Natsionalna Elektricheska Kompania" EAD, member of the Board of Directors of "Contour Global Maritsa Iztok 3" AD and the Supervisory Board of HEC "Gorna Arda", Financial Director of "Bulgargaz" EAD.

Since the beginning of 2016 he has held the position of Executive Director of "Bulgargaz" EAD.

Nikolay Pavlov was appointed Minister of Energy on 27.01.2017 with a decree by President Rumen Radev.
