Ministry of Energy is working jointly with the SEWRC to recover the energy
The recovery of the energy sector has been mainly targeted by the Ministry of Energy since the beginning of the government’s mandate. Therefore, the Ministry’s experts are actively working with the SEWRC on the measures to stabilize the energy and to create conditions enabling it to operate in accordance with the market rules. The proposals being made in that respect include both short-term measures, and those with medium and long-term nature. As part of this business cycle, the experts of the Ministry of Energy provided the SEWRC with a draft version of a document covering the initial vision of the steps needed to recover the industry, which have been already discussed at the joint meetings.
The experts within the SEWRC aimed at presenting standpoints and suggestions. In the course of our joint activities, a financial analysis of the suggestions describing a clear picture of the their impact on each companies in the energy sector and on the end users is subject to be made. As far as such an analysis has not been completed so far, and it is not clear which of the proposals will be adopted or not, we would not be allowed at this stage to comment on in details any of them. Following the completion of the financial analysis, a final decision identifying which of the proposed measures is appropriate to adopt or not will be taken. It is expected that the joint activities with the SEWRC on that issue will be finalized in the shortest time in order to advise the society of the measures envisaged and to proceed with their implementation
