Minister of Enegy Traicho Traikov took office from his predecessor Zhecho Stankov
During a symbolic handover ceremony in the Ministry of Energy, Minister Traikov assumed the role from his predecessor Zhecho Stankov.
Stankov presented to his successor the main challenges and results of the institution’s work over the past year, including the derogation achieved for the Bulgarian Lukoil entities from American sanctions, the inclusion of our country as an investor in oil and natural gas drilling in the Black Sea, the real construction work on the Vertical Gas Corridor, etc.
Traikov declared his commitment for the team of the Ministry of Energy to continue working to protect national interest and develop a stable, competitive and resilient energy sector.
