The Ministry of Energy offers for public debate changes to Ordinance “E-RD-16-04-06 /28.09.2018” to reduce the burden associated with the cost of energy from RES. The amendments aim to align the texts of the Ordinance with the amendments to the Energy Act of May 2018.
The new texts abolish the requirement to provide certain documents on paper. Thus, the administrative burden is expected to be reduced.
In the draft Ordinance, the mandatory feed-in-tariff purchase of energy from renewable sources produced by over 4 MW installed capacity is replaced by a premium. Transactions with this electricity will be carried out only on the organized power exchange. The new texts maintain the support mechanism of RES with an installed capacity of less than 4 MW.
